Welcome to Woodland Play Patch, Fencehouses, Durham. A carefully planned indoor play space designed with open ended, wooden toys and resources to offer a calming environment and alternative to soft play. Suitable from birth to pre-school, we have chosen toys specifically to help in all areas of your Childs development. Our play space is the perfect fun day out in Durham and the North East.

Woodland Play Patch is a great fun day out in Durham. Baby and Toddler friendly play space near Sunderland and Newcastle. This easily accessible play cafe is at the heart of the North East of England with great transport links via the A1 motorway and plenty of bus routes to all the surrounding villages across County Durham.

Woodland Play Patch is one of the leading play centres in the County Durham and we pride ourselves on our big warm welcome, fantastic coffee and unique independent play.

Our centre has been designed with all wooden, open ended toys, suitable for babies and toddlers to enjoy, using their own imagination. A set up where parents can comfortably let their little ones explore but also get involved and engage in their play too.

We have designed our stations around developing fine and gross motor skills while offering a safe space for them to explore various schemas involved in child development.

Our open play tickets allow you to visit us at any time throughout the day for 2 hours.

£5.50 a child with half price siblings discount.

Free cost of living tickets for those who need them.

Free babies in arms.

We proudly support our community by offering new mam socials, dad socials, twin socials amongst many other things to grow our parenting community.
